ANGEL FOOD DONATIONS
Thank you for your interest in making a food donation to our "ANGEL FOOD PROGRAM"! We believe that everyone has a right to healthy food—and we work every day to ensure this. Whether it’s families who visit our markets, or neighbors and surrounding areas who depend on hot meals we’re working 365 days a year to increase food security and ensure healthy options for our neighbors. Last year, our food programs distributed over 650 healthy meals in our community. This reach would be impossible without the generous support of people like you! We have numerous opportunities for food donations. Please read our guidelines before donating.
We accept sealed, unopened, and healthy grocery donations for our emergency mini market. When making donations, please ensure that groceries are fresh and that canned goods have not expired. In the event that you are planning a food drive, please give us a call to discuss any specific needs we may have, and to coordinate a delivery date call our Food Donation Hotline (678-653-3285) or email email@example.com to schedule a drop off.
ANGEL's CLOSET & HOUSEWARES
Thank you for your interest in making a clothing, houseware, or technology donation to WFC's Angel Closet! WFC ensures no-cost clothing and housewares for hundreds of neighbors in need through its outreach program. Every donation we receive in Angel's Closet helps advance our work and mission. Thank you for your support!
CLOTHING DONATION GUIDELINES
We request cold-weather clothing donations (pants, jackets, sweaters) from September-March and warm-weather clothing donations (shorts, tank tops, dresses) from April-August. To learn more about our specific needs, refer to our wish list below!
Please neatly fold clothing and housewares donations into boxes or sturdy shopping bags. To ensure the utmost respect for patrons, we ask that donations please not be dropped off in garbage bags.
Gently used seasonal clothing and shoes that are clean and in good condition! We are particularly in need of clothing and shoes for men, new unopened socks for women, men and children and undergarments for men, women, and children.
Children’s books, which we distribute at no-cost, to ensure that children and families can have home libraries.
Clean and fully functioning kitchenware, including pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils, and small electric appliances, as well as bed and table linens, working lamps with shades, non-CRT computers, flat screen monitors and televisions, and other small, working electronics.
Items for children are always in demand! So that we ensure only the best, safest products for children, we ask that donations of car seats, strollers, toys, and portable swings be brand new.
We are also always in need of children’s school uniforms.
In winter, we require additional donations of hats, scarves, gloves, coats, and sweaters. Year-round, we are in need of toiletries, baby wipes and pamper donations, which we distribute to neighbors in need.
Please think of us during your next hotel stay!
In order to uphold our values of dignity and respect, and ensure that Angel's patrons can select from high-quality items, please refrain from donating clothing with tears, stains, holes, broken zippers, or missing buttons; shoes with cracks, holes, or mold; and broken jewelry or housewares. While we are so grateful for your support, we unfortunately cannot accept the following items: mattresses, box springs, large furniture or dissembled pressed-wood items, plastic or wire hangers, or medical equipment. Please refer to our wish list when considering a donation!
In addition to the many items we accept for our WFC Angel stores, we also accept technology donations for our educational programs and administrative offices. If you have any questions about technology donations, please contact 678-653-3285.
