Quarterly WFC hosts a"Youth Movie Night" on Friday evenings from 7pm -11pm.  We decided to create a night that would allow parents an opportunity to get out without worrying about leaving their kids at home alone.  Movies are a powerful and influential medium  and a terrific outreach event that brings the youth in the community together to converse and meet new people.  A combo meal which consists or either Pizza or Hot Dog, chips and drink are provided along with popcorn.  We are always looking for ideas of movies to show and in need of donations for the youth the night of the event.

WFC's Prison Ministry has partnered with Family Unification Network Inc. to collect bath size bar of Dial Soap.  These bars of soap are being collected year round.  After the collection process, we have a soap packaging party and the soaps are delivered to men and women that are incarcerated in prisons throughout the State of Georgia.  We need your help this year to reach our goal of collecting 2,500 bars of soap!  



Warriors for Christ has partnered with VEO (Veterans Empowerment Organization) in Atlanta, GA to feed the veterans and offer prayer services onsite with the gentlemen.    VEO serves Veterans that have offered their lives to protect the freedom we all enjoy as U.S. Citizens. Upon homecoming, the Veterans have faced tremendous challenges finding affordable housing and sustainable employment to support themselves and their families.  VEO makes the mission of becoming self-sufficient possible for Veterans and their Families.  Therefore, WFC provides and cooks a full meal to the veterans quarterly and offers prayer services onsite in their community center.  


Back to School Events have been hosted at Warriors for Christ for the past 4 years.  Community Sponsors, friends and family members of Warriors for Christ organization have donated backpacks and school supplies.  Vendors such as Safe Link, Local Tutoring company, Cupcakes By Dani and Insurance companies.  Each year the donated backpacks and school supplies are then separated and a back to school giveaway is hosted in the community where the supplies are distributed to registered school aged children that must have a parent present.  Each child receives a backpack with school supplies and are invited to participate in family friendly activities at the Back to School Event.  After the event school supplies are available to students in need throughout the school year.  We are always in need of volunteers , door prizes for our raffle and schools supplies to make the event a huge success! 


WFC is now an agency partner with The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta.  WFC believes that furniture is essential to a person's physical and emotional well-being.  The partnership with the furniture bank allows WFC to provide essential household furniture to individuals and families in need.  We are able to provide beds for sleeping, tables for sharing meals, and couches for relaxing. We are to help those in need turn their houses into homes.  

Eligibility Requirements for the program are:  

(1)Persons fitting the HUD Definition of Homelessness (having lived in a shelter or on the street)

(2) Persons fleeing domestic violence

(3) Persons with HIV/AIDS & fitting the HOPWA Income Guidelines (4) Persons who are living below the poverty line and facing a significant challenge which has caused a loss of furniture or an inability to afford furniture.

WFC understands that it is difficult at times to find entertainment for the entire family. Therefore, we partnered with Mocha Nights to offer live entertainment to include open mic, poetry and comedy twice per year.  Additionally, slamming food is available for purchase.

G.E.L.S Mentoring Program


G.E.L.S. is a mentoring program that was adopted into Marietta High School for the 2015-2016 school year and was held every Tuesday.  This program focuses on the self- development and empowerment of each participant.  Some of the topics addressed are:  TAKING CONTROL, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, BULLYING, STRATEGIES FOR HAPPINESS, FAMILY ISSUES, ANGER MANAGEMENT, VIOLENCE/ABUSE, SELF RESPECT, DEPRESSION/SUICIDE, IDENTITY CRISIS and SELF RESPECT.  Groups consisted of 12-20 kids for 45 minutes during their planning period at 8:50 am and breakfast was provided for the students each morning.  Each student had to get parental consent to participate in the program.  

Food Stamps, Medicaid and TANF

Approved Mail-In Site 

Warriors for Christ has partnered with Atlanta Community Food bank and is now an approved Mail-In site for Food Stamps, Medicaid and TANF.  Instead of participants going to the Department of Family and Children Services and waiting hours to be served, those in need can come to Warriors for Christ to get assistance with their applications and renewals. Once applications are complete the WFC representative will mail the application to Atlanta Community Food Bank's onsite Agent that will work the cases and clients.   With this process in place participants can get better customer service and assistance by going to the mail-in partners in the community.


Bi-annually WFC hosts a Youth Lock-In and invites children throughout Atlanta, GA to a night full of fun activities such a talent show, etiquette games, role playing, healthy eating projects, dancing, lots of eating, money budgeting activities and much more. The event lasts for 12-hours and allows various churches, youth groups and kids within the community to drop their kids off for a night of fun.  All kids that attend the event must register by completing registration form and liability consent form.  


Warrior for Christ has fed the less fortunate for the last 8 years.   Warriors for Christ partners with Signature Cuts Barber Shop and Altre Business Solutions to host a mobile feeding and provides coats and blankets on Thanksgiving and Christmas morning.  Food and clothing donations are accepted and meals are prepared for the feeding.  Over 250 lbs of chicken and over 15 turkeys are placed on the grill and cooked overnight.  Donations are accepted of various food items such as cooked vegetables, mashed potatoes, desserts, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and bottled water.  Each year our menus change to give the individuals something different to look forward to eating.  The morning of Thanksgiving and Christmas volunteers line up and trail to each destination where we set up and serve those that are in need of a hot meal.  


Every other month WFC "Hits the Streets" to spread love in the community.  We provide food, water, pillows,  blankets, socks, toiletries, clothes and entertain the homeless.  We look at it as taking a community to end homelessness.  

We are always in need of donations.


G.E.L.S is also offered at Warriors for Christ Global Outreach Ministries once a month.  This program begins at 12 until 4 pm.  Lunch is served to the participants and groups are split between the boys and girls.  The ages range from 8-21 years old and there are approximately 45 participants in the Saturday program.  The sessions are hands-on and interactive.  Additionally a guest speaker is brought in to be an expert on the topic.  For example we have had an expert on Human trafficking to discuss the dangers of internet and social media.  We have also had a police officer come out to talk to the group about gang initiation, symbolism of wearing pants low, what its like to be in jail, etc.
